FLUGFELAG ISLANDS Fokker F50 TF-JMO arrives at Isafjordur Airport 28 July 2005. The approach is flown about 30 degrees offset to the direction of the runway due to the nearby mountain ridge. At about 50 feet agl the pilot turns for the runway. Isafjordur Airport is also a cul de sac airport (you must fly out the same way you flow in).
